Such an incredible night with Nicole Atkins at St Mary's Creative Space!
A woman in possession of extreme lung power with finesse to match, Nicole Atkins also showed an iron will to make it down to Chester on Friday night. Staring down the barrel of an M6 horror show after her tour van decided to give up the ghost, Nicole and her band made it onstage in time to deliver a phenomenal show. Caleb Elliott's set was beautiful and Tom Blackwell came to the rescue with a fine opening to the evening.
Massive shout out to the kind folks who helped load in and to Edward Davies on the sound. Absolute legends.
